FOUR Powerful Words 
 
The other day, I felt awful!  I felt scattered, unfocused, tired, and overwhelmed. 

Then I took a walk and did this Four Powerful Words Technique, and when I got back, I felt great!  Energized, happy, focused and inspired.

10 minutes later and a world of difference.




What are the four words?

 
Even though . . . ,  I choose . . . .
 
Even though I'm tired,
I choose to feel alive and energetic.
 
Even though I feel scattered,
I choose to feel focused and productive.
 
Even though my ankle hurts,
I choose to walk easily with great health and vitality.
 
Even though she's driving me crazy,
I choose to be happy within myself no matter what anybody else does.

When you notice something is off, that's great, it's actually half the battle. The other half is knowing what you want. Our mind doesn't always go to the positive. It likes to replay the problem over and over, and sometimes it is a challenge to think of what you DO want.

If you are unhappy about something, take the time to figure out what you do want instead. Saying "I choose" gives a direct command to the subconscious to begin bringing what you wish about.

Try it the next time you are feeling down and notice how your spirits lift almost instantly.

Anxiety over bills? 9/13/15

Listen in and tap with us! Tapping is amazing at changing energy. Here is a recording of a class I did last week that shows how interesting and effective tapping can be. 
 
Three different people tapped out loud - each one rated their intensity at a 10, on a 0-10 scale, in the beginning. By the end, all the intensity was gone!
 
They also each experienced the stress in a different part of their body, one in the throat, one in the stomach, and one all over like a scratchy blanket. 
 
Also interesting was what each of their subconscious mind presented when I asked them to take it out of their body, and what did it look like?  Three very different images! We are each so unique. If you do it, let me know what your anxiety looked like when you took it out of your body.  What did you put in it's place?

World Famous Abundance Prayer 9/5/15


I learned about this world famous abundance prayer from Simona Rich. She noted that when she started saying it, very strange events began happening. Every time she said it, she would get some sort of money afterwards. As she shared it, many other people also reported money coming from seemingly miraculous ways.  I hope this works in this way for you as well.
 
Say this prayer like you really mean it, taking every word to heart and visualize opening to abundance in whatever way seems good to you. Feel free to change the words to make them feel more right and true for you. The original prayer used I AM, she chose it to WE ARE, which she felt added more power to the prayer.

Let's Decree-

We dwell in the midst of Infinite Abundance. The Abundance of God is our Infinite Source.

The River of Life never stops flowing. It flows through us into lavish expression. Good comes to us through unexpected avenues and God works in a myriad of ways to bless us.

We now open our minds to receive our good. Nothing is too good to be true. Nothing is too wonderful to have happen. With God as our Source, nothing amazes us.

We are not burdened by thoughts of past or future. One is gone. The other is yet to come.

By the power of our belief, coupled with our purposeful fearless actions and our deep rapport with God, our future is created and our abundance made manifest.

We ask and accept that We are lifted in this and every moment into Higher Truth. Our minds are quiet.

From this day forward We give freely and fearlessly into life and Life gives back to us with magnificent increase. Blessings come in expected and unexpected ways. God provides for us in wondrous ways for the work that we do.

What to do when you find yourself resisting?

 
Resistance! 
 
I had a list of things I was currently resisting: starting a new food program, doing some work in a specific area, two work-related projects, and even drinking more water. When I counted them all up, there were five things I was resisting!
 
All of these would be good for me! Part of me really wanted to do all of them, and part of me was digging in my heels and resisting. No way.
 
Are you familiar with that feeling? Do you have things you know you should do, but are resisting?
 
7 Ways OUT of Resistance and Getting IN the Flow
 
1. Write a Do & Don't List
Write it out - why do you want to do it? Make a separate list - why don't you want to do it? Get all those thoughts out of your head and down on to paper, it is amazing how clarifying that is!
 
For example, on my food program list, here are a few of the many reasons I did want to do it:
-I would feel better
-lose the bloated feeling
-have more energy
-feel in control
 
And why I didn't want to:
-summer parties coming up
-wanted to celebrate with family visiting
-too much work
-didn't want to put that much attention on food
 
 
2. Analyze the 'Don'ts'
Look at your list of why you don't want to. Are they true?
For instance - I felt like I couldn't have fun with my family if I was on a food plan. Was that really true? No, not really, I could still have a treat with them and be on a food plan. Was it really more attention on food? No, because I've been thinking about it, in a negative way, anyway, so it would be positive pre-planning attention, rather than after-the-fact, regret, attention!
 
3. Visualize the 'Done'
Get a full picture of it being done, how it will feel. What will you see, what will you smell, taste and touch? What will other people say to you? What will you say or even write to your friends? Would you post something on facebook? Call a friend? Make the good feelings you will get by doing it feel real in the present - this is very motivating.
 
4. Could it be Easy?
Ask the question, could this be easy? Or, how could this be as easy as possible? If it was easy, what would it look like? Allow your subconscious mind to take the struggle out of the situation. If there was no resistance, it conceivably be very easy, even if there were numerous steps to take. What would it take to do the things you are resisting? When you ask these questions, pause - your amazing mind will search for the answers for you!
 
5. Take a Tiny, Baby Step (Do this one, if you are resisting the others)
Break it down. What is one small step you could take right now? What one small change could you commit to, even if you can't do the whole project right now? By taking one small step, you are getting momentum up, which will make it all easier. Get out your tools. Jot down an outline.
 
I decided I could just cut out sugar and nighttime eating, except for celebration meals, and then when school started, I could jump into my food program. This felt very freeing - a good healthy step, but still with fun and freedom.
 
What small step could you take to feel better and get started towards that which you want?

6. Get Moving
Leave the project. Take a walk, wash the dishes, do something physical to getback in your body.
 
 
7. Check Your Energy
Use EFT on your 'don't want to' list, and/or check to see if your energy is crossing side-to-side.
 
If you don't know EFT, check out my video below. 
 
If your energy isn't crossing side to side, you won't feel like doing anything, and there are simple ways to correct this and get back to your inspired, wonderful self who is capable of accomplishing anything you set your mind to.

Is Your Energy Moving Side to Side? (4/12/15)

Healthy Energy Moves and Crosses Side to Side 

 

The other day, I felt a little "off", kind of grumpy and out of sorts, not my usual self. I couldn't really figure out why. Nothing bad had happened and actually lots of good things were going on. But something was definitely "off".    
 

I had the thought to energy test myself, and sure enough, my energy was homolateral - meaning NOT crossing side to side, but running up and down parallel.

 

I did the energy exercises, and could actually feel the shift sliding into place, like a breath of fresh air, "oh this is what I'm supposed to feel like!"

from the right side of the brain controlling the left side of the body, to the subtle cross over in the double helix of the DNA and many places in between, healthy energy consists of many cross overs.

Here are 4 Ways to Get Your Energy Crossing
-5 if you count walking - my favorite! 

    

Cross Crawl

The basic exercise to keep energy crossing is marching while touching the opposite hand to the opposite knee, so you are reaching across the body.  Right hand to left knee, and then left hand to right knee.

  

You can do this is sitting down in a chair, and also lying in bed.  This is wonderful for anyone after surgery, or if you are feeling a cold coming on, or are feeling depressed.  Also, talking a walk encourages energy to cross.

  

*Note: There are other exercises that are more effective if your energy is chronically running parallel, or not crossing over. This is the case in depression or with an immune disorder. Email me and I can send you more information.

  

Shoulder Hook Crossover exercise:

  1. Reach across your body with your full hand and hook into your opposite shoulder, making sure your hand is resting on top of your shoulder with your fingers along the back.

  2. Firmly push in and pull your hand across the front of your body to your opposite hip. Do this two to three times.

  3. Repeat on your other side.

  4. Then, starting at your fingertips, drag your full hand up the inside of your arm to the shoulder and then drag it down across your body to opposite hip. Do this two to three times.

  5. Repeat on your other side.

 

Figure 8's to cross the body also help to get the energy moving. Trace big figure 8's up in the air all around the body, little figure 8's on any place that needs more energy. An easy simple exercise to get energy moving, flowing and crossing side to side.

  

Figure 8 the eyes

Trace your fingers up and around your eyes in a figure 8 pattern. Start in between your eyes at the nose, then up over the right eye, under the left eye, over the left eye then under the right eye.
